How to Prep for Contentment

Just in case you forgot, we’re STILL Hitting the Floor and meditation is the reason why! It’s the perfect solution to finding contentment.

con·tent·ment

[kənˈtentmənt]

NOUN

  1. a state of happiness and satisfaction:
“he found contentment in living a simple life in the country”

But can you prep for it though? My answer is YES, YES, YES! If you can go to school to get a degree to attain the job you want and you can prep your meals to win the body you’ve dreamed of, then you can gain contentment by simply planning out what will enable that LOVE juice to flow from the situations you’re in.

Think About IT

Your body never does anything without your brain giving it the go ahead. Therefore, take the time to think about all of the things you’ve ever wanted. No matter if it’s long or short term your idea of what you want your future and present to look like starts behind your eyes.

Practice Makes Perfect

Thinking about what you want gives you many ideas of what you are doing to get there, what you already have and who you want to become because of your successes. Act as if you are already where you want to be by appreciating the things that ARE going right. When you count your blessings instead of your shortcomings you allow more light into your life, that can point you in the direction of your contentment.

Meditate on the Process

When building a house you need a team to fulfill the goal. From contractors that draw and build the plans to electricians that wire the home, a team of builders came together for one common goal. You are the builder of your dreams becoming your reality. Take the time to concentrate on the steps to reach your bliss and the details that make it all real.
