Sharmaine Tate was born in San Diego, CA and raised in Dallas, TX where she began studying ballet at the age of 3. Sharmaine recognized her passion for the arts at an early age. Studying jazz, tap, cheerleading, gymnastics, ballet, hip hop and acting as a youth started moving her entertainment career into the right direction quickly. Performing for artists such as Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin before finishing high school, prepped her for her first tour with Lil Wayne immediately after leaving the University of Houston, where she studied modern dance choreography. Miss Tate’s passion for creating, learning and exploring different styles has increased her credits and dance vocabulary making her the professional she is today.
Sharmaine’s credits also include Get On Up, Nicki Minaj, B.O.B, Verizon, Last Vegas, Georgia Lottery, Atlanta Housewives, Marriott, British Next Top Model, Kandi Factory, Radio Shack, Six Flags and many more. Not only has she worked in front the camera she has also done production and creative development work with major networks as well.
